About the Designer

I am a seasoned seamstress and designer and I am passionate about my work. I have a proven track record of being able to create just about anything I put my mind to. I have sketched, designed, and created everyday clothing items as well as prom and wedding dresses. I have built my clothing line from the ground up and I’m striving for more.

Since I first used a sewing machine at the age of ten, I knew this was something that I wanted to do, and something that I wanted to master. Between the age of twelve and eighteen I made a number of items, such as jeans, pillows, dresses, shirts, jackets, and a prom dress for my best friend. After high school, I attended Morgan State University where I majored in Fashion Merchandising and continued on my journey to achieving my dream to become a fashion designer. While attending school my major ended up being dropped but I never lost my love or desire to make and create things.

Since leaving school I have been making many things for clients that I have met over the years. It has been twenty years since I began sewing and I have continued to grow as a designer every day. I have continued on my path to achieve my dream and the next step I have for myself is to try out for the show Project Runway and show the world what I can do.
