• How long does it take to create a custom prom dress?

Each dress is different. Once the deposit has been received, then your materials to create your dress are purchased. Some items must be special ordered so it adds time to the completion time. Once all materials are received it takes 1-3 months to create a prom dress depending on the complexity of the dress. Design elements such as beads and appliques take time to attach so it does play a huge part in the completion of your dress. Another thing that adds time are design changes made after the 24 hour window. The more changes that are made the more time that the tack on.

• What is the process of having a custom garment made?

The first step is the consultation where I will speak with you to get an idea of what you are looking for. Once an item is decided on I go over fabric choices as well as design elements so I can quote the item. Once the quote is agreed upon, you will be emailed the contract and the order form and given a deposit amount. Once the deposit is received, the garment construction goes underway. Depending on the item the completion time is anywhere from 1-5 months depending on complexity of the garment.

• Are there refunds on custom clothing items?

There are no refunds as everything is made to order and it will be made based on your measurements. If you feel that there is a craftsmanship issue then we can work together to come to a solution. Also when you receive your garment, you will complete a “client satisfaction” upon receipt of the garment.

• How much are fittings?

Fittings are free if you live in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia Metro area.  Out of state orders in the tri state area are $75 per fitting. If you prefer to ship the garment back and forth that can be done but you are responsible for the shipping costs and it will be added to your final payment of your item.

• What are the payment options?

Payments are 50% up front and then 50% at time of delivery.
